10 years of Oktoberfest in the Paulaner Bräuhaus in Shanghai

The Oktoberfest in the Paulaner Brähaus in Shanghai/China is celebrating its 10th birthday.
For the 7th time in a row "Die Kirchdorfer" will be playing there.

In 2007 "Die Kirchdorfer" was engaged to play at the Paulaner Bräuhaus Oktoberfest in Shanghai for the 7th year in a row. Two special challenges had to be solved this year, the 10th anniversary of the Oktoberfest in Shanghai and the Oktoberfest in Dubai, which are both at the same time. So, for the first time ever, we will split our band into a group of 7 and a group of 9 to cover both events. The 2007 Oktoberfest in Shanghai was a great success. "Die Kirchdorfer" was able to keep the local and international audience in a good mood for 11 days. The extraordinary good food and the home-brewed "Paulaner Oktoberfest"-beer by master brewer Rene Schwichtenberg was wonderful. Having "Die Kirchdorfer" play in the Paulaner Bräuhaus Shanghai, which is becoming an annual tradition, has allowed us to develop a good relationship with long-term sponsors of the Oktoberfest in Shanghai. We would like to acknowledge the Lufthansa Cargo and especially Peter Ullmayer, who never lets us down. Even the Lufthansa Crews heard that it might be a good idea to visit the Paulaner Bräuhaus on Fen Yang Road during October because of great time there.
